Most people are familiar with reading blood test results, however there are individuals who have never heard about hair mineral analysis. In most cases, a standard blood test will not pick up on mineral imbalances. Minerals tend to stay balanced in the blood. Hair mineral analysis is very effective at detecting mineral imbalances, mineral deficiencies, and heavy metal toxicity.
Why Test for Minerals?
Minerals are the spark plugs of life and are involved in almost all enzyme reactions in the body. If you have just one deficiency, that can throw your entire mineral system off.
“You can trace every sickness, every disease, and every ailment to a mineral deficiency.” – Dr. Linus Pauling, two-time Nobel Prize winner
“The lack of minerals is the root of all disease.” – Dr. Gary Price Todd
What Causes Mineral Imbalances?
- Stress
- Mineral Deficient Soils and Food Supply
- Impaired Digestion
- Heavy Metal Toxicity
- Unhealthy Diet
- Mineral Imbalances passed on from Mother to Child
- and much more!
What is a Hair Mineral Analysis?
Hair Analysis is a tissue biopsy and cellular test. It reveals nutritive minerals and toxic metals. There are cells within your hair. Cells are the major site of metabolic activity, not the blood or urine.
Hair Mineral Analysis and Reading Blood Test Results
Let me give you a couple of examples of the differences between a hair analysis and reading blood test results:
- Mineral Deficiency. A person has a magnesium deficiency. Magnesium will be rerouted from the tissues, such as the hair, and moved into the blood. The reason this occurs is to keep the minerals balanced in the blood. The magnesium deficiency will be picked up on a hair analysis, however in the blood, in most cases, it will show balanced. Hair Analysis is effective at detecting mineral imbalances and deficiencies.
- Toxic Metal Exposure. A person is exposed to a toxic metal, such as mercury. The toxic metal will be moved out of the blood in 90 days or less, and pushed into the tissues, such as the hair, where it will do less damage to the body. Hair analysis is effective at revealing toxic metals. There are times toxic metals can show low on a hair analysis, however this usually means that a person’s energy is not optimal Once energy is increased on my “Increase Your Vitality” program, toxic metals will rise on re-tests, indicating an elimination.
